About Us

Solutions for collections that must last

Based in Thane, Maharashtra, Eternal Archival Systems provides archival preservation, storage and customized archival solutions for museums, archives, libraries, universities, galleries, cultural institutions, corporates, legal firms and private collectors.

About Eternal Archival Systems

More than a product supplier

Collections are irreplaceable, and the way they are stored decides how long they survive. Eternal Archival Systems exists to give institutions and collectors access to proper archival storage: acid-free boxes, enclosures and preservation materials, matched to the formats they hold.

Beyond supply, we take responsibility for the whole solution: understanding the collection, planning the storage, coordinating fabrication and supporting installation on site.

Our Vision

Every collection, properly preserved

A future in which every institution and collector, large or small, can store their collections to archival standards and pass them on intact to the generations that follow.

Archival Preservation Approach

Start with the collection

We begin with what is being stored: its format, material, condition and how often it is consulted. That determines the enclosure, from flat A-series boxes for documents to envelopes and sleeves for individual items, and deeper boxes for organic and three-dimensional material. Acid-free materials, protection from dust and light, and reduced handling are the principles behind every recommendation.

Customized Solutions

When standard sizes are not enough

Many collections include items that don't fit a catalogue size. We develop made-to-measure enclosures and storage configurations for oversized, fragile or unusual items, and scale them across entire collections when required.

Project Planning & Execution

One partner from survey to shelf

For rehousing and storage projects we handle planning, quantities and scheduling, coordinate fabrication, and manage installation and site coordination, so institutions can focus on their collections rather than on logistics.

Partnerships & Institutional Support

Long-term relationships

We build partnerships with cultural and heritage organizations and support them over the long term, from ongoing supply to new storage infrastructure as their collections grow.

Protecting Memories. Preserving History. Securing Legacies.

Why Acid-Free Storage Matters

Time does not forgive improper storage

Every collection tells a story, but improper storage can silently rewrite it. Ordinary cardboard boxes and envelopes slowly damage the very things they are meant to protect.

Improper storage Ordinary cardboard

  • Acid discoloration

Acidic cardboard and paper cause yellowing, browning and brittleness.

  • UV degradation & colour bleed

Light exposure fades photographs and inks and makes colours bleed.

  • Physical warping

Poorly supported material bends, warps and cockles over time.

  • Acid migration stains

Acids transfer from ordinary storage materials onto the objects they touch.

  • Corrosion

Metal objects such as coins and medals corrode in unstable storage.

Properly stored Acid-free archival box

  • Alkaline buffer

Formulated to counteract acidic compounds and slow deterioration.

  • Lignin-free

Excludes lignin, the wood component that causes discoloration and brittleness.

  • Non-volatile

Made from materials that do not emit harmful gasses over time.

  • Moisture buffer

Helps maintain a stable, safe internal climate around the contents.

  • Light protection

Closed archival enclosures shield contents from damaging UV light.

Protect what matters. Choose acid-free archival boxes.
